About the role
- We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical FP&A Analyst / Senior Analyst to join our growing finance team. The FP&A Analyst / Senior Analyst will be responsible for assisting with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication abilities needed to thrive in a fast-paced tech environment.
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
- Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations.
- Support the budget process by collecting data, consolidating information, and providing analysis.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for deviations from budget or forecasts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and understand business performance.
- Assist in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance dashboards.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 2-6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, or a similar role in B2B SaaS start up.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
- Experience with financial reporting systems and tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- CPA or CFA certifications will be a plus
- Experience with Netsuite, Tableau, Salesforce, Modern FP&A Tools (Planful, Mosaic, etc)
