About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the technical reference for Information Security and Cybersecurity
- Act as the technical orchestrator of the cyber security operation, connecting FGC and third-party partners
- Technically oversee and manage vendors for SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, CNAPP/CSPM, WAAP/WAF, firewall, VPN, NAC and ZTNA
- Validate technical deliverables, coverage and effectiveness of security controls
- Define technical direction and prioritize requests based on risk
- Define and evolve security standards in AWS and validate secure architectures (cloud security by design)
- Define and monitor the implementation of security in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub), including SAST, DAST, SCA, Secret Scanning and IaC scanning
- Oversee and supervise security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management and cloud maturity processes
- Ensure adherence to policies, standards and industry frameworks
- Work collaboratively with Solution Architecture, SRE, DevOps, Infrastructure, Data and Development teams
- Translate technical risks into business impact to support decision-making
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Information Security
- Previous experience as a senior professional or technical reference/lead
- Experience managing or technically overseeing third-party vendors
- Strong knowledge of AWS Security
- Strong knowledge of pipeline security
- Strong knowledge of GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Advanced Security
- Experience in SecOps (Security Operations)
- Knowledge of CNAPP, CSPM, WAAP, WAF, NGFW (Next-Generation Firewall), VPN, ZTNA and EDR/XDR
- Familiarity with NIST CSF and ISO/IEC 27001/27002
- Previous experience in the financial sector is a plus
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification is a plus
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP Top 10 and LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law) is a plus
