Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator – Social Sector

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Strategic Direction for M&E: Define M&E priorities, criteria, and operational plan, ensuring alignment with the Foundation's strategic objectives and the logic of impact generation.
- Institutional Methodological Framework: Establish and ensure the application of methodological models and standards, ensuring consistency across programs and projects.
- Indicator Governance: Oversee the definition and use of institutional indicators, ensuring coherence with strategy, data quality, and comparability across initiatives.
- Prioritization and Evaluation Eligibility: Define criteria for selecting projects eligible for outcome and impact evaluations.
- Technical Coordination of Evaluations: Guide and validate the methodological design of evaluations.
- Integration with Data Intelligence: Ensure M&E needs are reflected in the data architecture.
- Generating Evidence for Decision-Making: Translate monitoring and evaluation results into strategic recommendations.
- Institutional Capacity Development: Foster a culture of monitoring and evaluation across the organization.
- Team Management: Provide technical leadership to the M&E team, ensuring prioritization of tasks, quality of deliverables, and the area's maturity development.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Public Policy, or related fields.
- Master's degree or postgraduate specialization in Evaluation, Public Policy, Public Health, or related areas preferred.
- Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation of social programs or public policies.
- Experience leading or coordinating evaluations.
- Experience designing and implementing institutional M&E systems.
- Experience working in the nonprofit/third sector, foundations, or international organizations.
- Theory of Change and Logical Frameworks (LogFrame).
- Evaluation methods (quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods).
- Impact evaluations (RCT, DID, PSM, among others).
- Indicator development and governance.
- Integration of data and evaluation.
- Data analysis applied to evaluation.
- Advanced English (required).
- Spanish (desirable).
