Cloud Infrastructure Analyst (Mid-level)

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the availability, security, stability and efficiency of cloud, hybrid and on-premises environments by providing support, automation and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure.
- Administer, monitor and optimize environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability, performance, scalability and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage and support Kubernetes (K8s) clusters, including deployments, namespaces, policies, ingress, autoscaling, troubleshooting and administration of containerized workloads.
- Administer Linux and Windows Server systems, handling configurations, updates, hardening, troubleshooting and access management.
- Operate, administer and support VMware environments (vSphere, vCenter and ESXi), including provisioning, maintenance and optimization of virtual machines.
- Implement, maintain and automate infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Automate operational routines and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub and GitLab.
- Implement and monitor observability solutions with Datadog, Prometheus and Grafana, ensuring visibility into infrastructure, applications, events and costs.
- Support migration and modernization projects, including on-premises to cloud and cloud-to-cloud migrations.
- Work on backup strategies, disaster recovery (DR), business continuity and high availability.
- Identify opportunities to optimize resources, improve performance and reduce costs in cloud environments.
- Ensure compliance with information security policies, governance and regulatory requirements.
- Manage cloud networking and hybrid connectivity, including VPCs, VPNs, load balancers, DNS and integration between environments.
- Analyze and resolve critical incidents, infrastructure problems and perform advanced troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with development, security, architecture and operations teams to continuously evolve the environments.
- Document procedures, architectures, technical standards and operational processes for the infrastructure.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree completed or in progress in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields.
- Experience administering and supporting cloud, hybrid and on-premises environments.
- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and knowledge of AWS and Azure.
- Advanced experience with Kubernetes, including cluster management, deployments, Helm, autoscaling, ingress and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of containers and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Advanced Linux administration and experience with Windows Server.
- Experience with VMware virtualized environments.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Experience with automation and continuous integration using GitHub, GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge and application of DevOps practices in complex environments.
- Experience with observability and monitoring using Datadog, Prometheus and Grafana.
- Knowledge of cloud networking including VPC, VPN, load balancers, DNS and hybrid connectivity.
- Knowledge of cloud security, access management (IAM/RBAC), encryption and compliance best practices.
- Analytical skills, organization, proactivity and a strong focus on problem solving.
- Certifications in GCP, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes or DevOps are a plus.
- Previous experience in HealthTechs or regulated environments (LGPD, HIPAA, SOC, etc.) is desirable.
