About the role
- Execute the billing process for services, ensuring correct and timely issuance of invoices and bills.
- Validate adherence between Contract vs. Billing vs. transactional variables, ensuring compliance with commercial and contractual rules.
- Analyze and validate the databases used for billing (consumption, volumes, services provided, or operational metrics).
- Act as the interface with internal areas (Commercial/Sales, Finance, Operations, and Tax) to clarify discrepancies and billing adjustments.
- Respond to external client tickets and requests, providing explanations about billing, invoices, billed amounts, and any discrepancies.
- Respond to and follow up on emails and billing-related requests, ensuring responses within agreed deadlines and quality customer service.
- Ensure the integrity of information recorded in the ERP system and support continuous improvement of billing processes.
- Support the monthly billing close, ensuring revenue accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
- Monitor inconsistencies and propose corrections or improvements to the billing flow.
Requirements
- Experience with service billing processes (preferably with contracts and recurring or variable revenues).
- Knowledge of service invoice issuance (NFS-e) and basic tax concepts applicable to billing.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., TOTVS, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of revenue processes, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
- Familiarity with data analysis for billing validation.
- Previous experience in service provider companies or contract-based billing environments (advantage).
- Experience with hybrid billing models (fixed + transactional variable) (advantage).
- Experience with high billing volume or operational data (advantage).
- Knowledge of monthly close processes and revenue controls (advantage).
- Familiarity with automation or improvement of billing processes (advantage).
