About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Generate, terminate, review, and send invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure adherence to billing schedules and deadlines.
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
Maintain an understanding of the end-to-end payment processing transaction lifecycle, including system architecture, execution, reconciliation, and error handling.
Prepare the payments terminal revenue bills and account for inventory for the point-of-sale (POS) terminals.
Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and ensure reconciling items are resolved in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain documentation for payment processes and procedures.
Execute month-end close tasks including preparing journal entries in an accurate and timely manner.
Assist external auditors during interim and annual audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support related to revenue recognition practices and financial transactions.
Assist with audit compliance documentation as necessary.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience in corporate accounting.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
NetSuite experience preferred.
