About the role

  • Meet with clients, provide product demonstrations, technical presentations, and develop customized solutions to meet customer specifications.
  • Assist sales team in conducting in-depth needs analysis and discovery with prospective clients to understand their pain points and business goals.
  • Tailor software solution presentations and demos to address their unique requirements with a customer centric and value-driven approach.
  • Assist RFP coordinator to review and respond to RFP/RFI’s.
  • Solutions development and collaboration with engineering and product teams to ensure the solution offered are viable and tailored to client’s needs.
  • Assist with product configuration and suggest modifications to meet customer requirements.
  • Act as the technical point of contact during the sales process, answering questions about product functionality, features, customer requirements, and compatibility.
  • Build and maintain relationships with perspective and existing clients, serving as a technical resource to help customers understand solutions.
  • Help identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
  • Maintain an accurate record of sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Understand sales pipeline to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Leverage sales dashboards to understand where to focus your time and activities.
  • Provide expert knowledge of company’s products and services to both the sales team and clients, including pre and post-sales support to ensure product integration and functionality needs.
  • Document and provide feedback and insights about customer needs and product improvements to relevant teams.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including leadership, marketing, product management, and customer success, to align strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
  • Utilize this knowledge to position the solution effectively and provide insights to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical software sales, preferably within the SMB and mid-market segments, or supporting role within Golf Software Solutions.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Golf experience preferred.
