About the role
- Plan, coordinate and control the annual budgeting process, forecasts and periodic revisions;
- Monitor and analyze economic and financial results, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions;
- Prepare and validate management reports, dashboards and performance analyses for the executive management and the board of directors;
- Ensure accounting, tax and regulatory compliance, in alignment with current standards and internal policies;
- Coordinate accounting and management closings, ensuring deadlines and the quality of information;
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls, mitigating financial and operational risks;
- Act as a business partner to other areas, supporting strategic and operational decisions;
- Support internal and external audit processes, as well as regulatory inspections;
- Develop, lead and evaluate the controllership team, promoting continuous training;
- Propose improvements to processes, systems and control automation aimed at efficiency and reliability;
Requirements
- Proven experience in controllership, finance or management accounting
- Experience managing teams and interacting with senior leadership
- Corporate (statutory) and managerial accounting
- Budgeting, cost management and financial analysis
- Internal controls and corporate governance
- Tax legislation and accounting standards
- ERP systems and BI tools
- Fluent English
