About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create, review, and execute manual test cases based on requirements and user stories.
- Develop, maintain, and run automated test scripts for web applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, exploratory, and UAT testing.
- Test APIs using tools such as Postman or similar tools.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Work closely with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Support release testing and provide clear test reports.
- Help improve test processes, test coverage, and automation practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of experience in QA, with both manual and automation testing experience.
- Strong experience creating and executing test cases and test plans.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum development environments.
- Experience testing web applications; mobile testing experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools preferably Playwright and Selenium.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, Pytest, or similar.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with Git and version control practices.
- Basic SQL knowledge for database testing is preferred.
- Experience with Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or similar test and defect management tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
- Strong collaboration skills when working with developers, product managers, and other QA team members.
- Proactive mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality software.
