About the role

  • Perform manual testing of data and integration systems, comparing source and target data to verify mapping rules.
  • Run SQL queries, interfaces, and database scripts to validate test results.
  • Provide QA sign-off or defect reporting during Unit, Regression, System Integration, and Product Testing.
  • Create and maintain QA artifacts: test plans, scripts, approaches, detailed test conditions, and automation scripts.
  • Support UAT, post-implementation activities, and end-to-end QA efforts.
  • Mentor junior QA analysts and coordinate QA activities with project teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years QA testing experience, performing SQL scripting and manual backend data validation for integration and data systems.
  • Experience with BizTalk, ETL tools (e.g., DataStage), Azure, and Big Data platforms (Hadoop).
  • Knowledge of SDLC, risk analysis, and QA best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and mentor others.
  • Nice to Have: Experience with automation testing tools and test automation processes.
