About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and support WMS-to-robotics integration projects involving goods-to-person, conveyor/sortation, ASRS, and put-to-light/pick-to-light systems
  • Analyze business, functional, and integration requirements to design scalable WMS/WCS solutions
  • Configure core WMS modules including Inbound, Outbound, Inventory, Returns, Picking, and Shipping
  • Troubleshoot MHE messaging issues end-to-end and resolve root causes
  • Support technical determinations for endpoints, ports, and message formats
  • Write, review, and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for inventory adjustments, order-header updates, and wave/allocation logic
  • Partner with clients during SIT, UAT, go-live, and post-go-live phases, including onsite troubleshooting
  • Lead or participate in critical-incident issue and bridge calls
  • Present root-cause analysis to warehouse managers, SMEs, support teams, and other client stakeholders
  • Assess scope and schedule risks and help define MVP scope near go-live
  • Collaborate with onshore developers and international robotics vendor teams
  • Maintain design documents, technical specifications, test plans, runbooks, and configuration records
  • Mentor or guide less experienced consultants, analysts, or support staff
  • Own solution design and delivery for assigned workstreams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6–10+ years of experience in WMS implementations or supply chain execution systems
  • Experience spanning multiple full end-to-end implementations and go-lives
  • Strong techno-functional background bridging business/operations and IT
  • Hands-on experience integrating WMS with MHE/automation systems, robotics platforms, conveyor/sortation, or ASRS
  • Working proficiency in SQL, including stored procedures, joins, and updates, on Oracle, MSSQL, or comparable platforms
  • Deep understanding of receiving, put-away, wave/allocation logic, picking, packing, shipping, and returns
  • Hands-on experience with put-to-light and pick-to-light systems
  • Familiarity with warehouse floor hardware, including RF guns, printers, and label formats
  • Ability to troubleshoot MHE messaging issues methodically and trace problems to their source
  • Proven client-facing experience running go-lives, leading issue/bridge calls, and communicating under pressure
  • Comfortable with 50–75% travel, including occasional weekend work during go-live windows
  • Ability to work effectively with local onshore teams and international offshore robotics vendor teams
  • Direct experience with Hy-Tek Intralogistics or IntraOne preferred
  • Direct experience with Geek+, Locus Robotics, or Exotec preferred
  • Experience as a design lead on multi-building or multi-site WMS rollouts preferred
  • Experience mentoring junior consultants or analysts preferred
