About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support WMS-to-robotics integration work for goods-to-person, conveyor/sortation, ASRS, and put-to-light/pick-to-light systems
  • Analyze business, functional, and integration requirements for WMS/WCS solution design
  • Configure core WMS modules including Inbound, Outbound, Inventory, Returns, Picking, and Shipping
  • Troubleshoot MHE messaging issues by tracing failed messages to source jobs/processes, assessing severity and impact, and driving resolution
  • Support technical determinations for endpoints, ports, and message formats
  • Write, review, and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for inventory adjustments, order-header updates, and wave/allocation logic
  • Support clients during SIT, UAT, go-live, and post-go-live phases, including onsite troubleshooting
  • Participate in issue and bridge calls during critical incidents and present root-cause findings
  • Help identify and communicate MVP scope for late-breaking changes near go-live
  • Collaborate with onshore developers and international robotics vendor teams
  • Maintain design documents, technical specifications, test plans, runbooks, and configuration records
  • Progress toward independently owning day-to-day WMS/WCS support for at least one client engagement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5 years of experience in WMS implementations or supply chain execution systems
  • Ideally, exposure to at least one full end-to-end implementation or go-live
  • Techno-functional background bridging business/operations and IT
  • Exposure to WMS integration with MHE/automation systems, robotics platforms, conveyor/sortation, or ASRS strongly preferred
  • Working proficiency in SQL, including stored procedures, joins, and updates, on Oracle, MSSQL, or comparable platforms
  • Solid understanding of receiving, put-away, wave/allocation logic, picking, packing, shipping, and returns
  • Familiarity with put-to-light and pick-to-light systems is a plus
  • Comfort with warehouse floor hardware, including RF guns, printers, and label formats, is a plus
  • Ability to troubleshoot MHE messaging issues methodically and trace problems to their source
  • Comfort working directly with client stakeholders during go-lives and live troubleshooting
  • Comfortable with 50–75% travel, including occasional weekend work during go-live windows
  • Ability to work effectively with local, onshore teams and international, offshore robotics vendor teams
  • Direct experience with Hy-Tek Intralogistics or IntraOne preferred
  • Direct experience with Geek+, Locus Robotics, or Exotec preferred
  • Exposure to OMS, TMS, or EDI messaging standards preferred
  • Experience in Agile/DevOps environments preferred
