Support distributors on installation of mammography, ultrasound, DR and CR systems, components, and accessories ensuring conformance with market specifications.
Provide technical training to distributors’ engineers within the scope of assigned product family, including installation guidance.
Provide second-layer technical support for equipment failures; perform troubleshooting, diagnostic evaluations and routine inspections.
Identify issues and recommend corrections or process changes; complete all required documentation timely.
Maintain constant internal communication with other divisions and identify improvements for internal processes.
Maintain technical expertise on company product offerings and stay updated on industry trends and technology advancements through continuous education.
Assess new techniques and current work practices to reduce service costs and increase installation efficiency.
Adhere to company quality and regulatory compliance requirements and established policies and procedures.
Lead client site preparation (pre-installation) for Mammography Systems.
Prepare documentation in Spanish for Latin America distributors (installation guides, site survey evaluation, etc.).
Travel frequently (up to 80%) and be available to work outside normal business hours and holidays as needed.
Requirements
Associate’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic/Biomedical Engineering or related field OR comparable education and work experience.
Minimum of 5 years technical or professional experience.
Minimum of 5 years experience in installation, maintenance and support of medical imaging devices including Ultrasound systems, Mammography systems, Digital X-Ray systems, DR Detectors, Computer Radiography systems, and DICOM printers.
Teaching capabilities; ability to develop training protocols and train distributor engineers.
Experience with Case Management reporting and tracking tools.
Strong working knowledge of current network technologies and IT technologies.
Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills; excellent telephone manner.
Ability to communicate with customers in Spanish and ability to communicate in English.
Creative, consultative, relationship-building skills; ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Must be open to travel to assignment locations in different countries of Latin America; frequent travel up to 80%.
Ability to work outside normal business hours and holidays to meet business needs.
