About the role
- Independent project work in the field of geotechnical engineering for domestic and international projects
- Planning, coordination and execution of geotechnical site investigations
- Conducting geotechnical sampling and field and laboratory testing
- Geological/geotechnical assessment and classification of soils and rock
- Preparation of reports and review of results
- Managing projects with regard to quality, cost, schedule and safety requirements in coordination with the team leader and project managers
- Collaboration with project-related subcontractors
Requirements
- University degree in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, geology or a comparable field
- Relevant professional experience
- Confident and professionally competent manner with strong communication skills
- Conflict management skills and strong negotiation abilities
- Willingness to work in intercultural and international teams; team player
- Proficient with Office software and ArcGIS
- Fluent German (C2) and very good English (at least B2)
- Valid driver's license (car)
