About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Independent project work in the field of geotechnical engineering in Germany and abroad
Planning, coordinating and conducting geotechnical site investigations
Performing geotechnical sampling and field and laboratory testing
Geological/geotechnical description and classification of soils and rock
Preparing reports and reviewing results
Managing projects with regard to quality, cost, schedule and safety requirements in coordination with the team leader and project managers
Collaboration with project-related subcontractors

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnology, Geology or a comparable field
Relevant professional experience
Confident, professionally competent demeanor and strong communication skills
Ability to handle conflicts and strong negotiation skills
Willingness to work in intercultural and international teams; team player
Proficient in Office software and ArcGIS
Fluent German (C2) and very good English (at least B2)
Valid driver's license (car)
