About the role
- The role focuses on project work and geotechnical site investigations
- Conduct geotechnical sampling and perform field and laboratory tests
- Geological/geotechnical identification and classification of soils and rocks
- Project work in the field of geotechnics both domestically and internationally, including documentation and review of results, and ensuring compliance with specifications and contractual requirements
- Manage project tasks while observing quality, cost, schedule and safety requirements in coordination with the department manager and project managers
- Plan, coordinate and carry out geotechnical investigations, tests and measurements
- Collaborate with project-related subcontractors
Requirements
- University degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Surveying/Geodesy or a comparable field
- Initial relevant practical experience through internships or student positions is an advantage but not required
- Confident and professionally competent presence with strong communication skills
- Ability to handle conflicts and strong negotiation skills
- High level of commitment
- IT skills: Proficient with Office software (Microsoft Office) and ArcGIS
- Fluent German (C2) and good English (B2)
- Valid driving licence (car)
- Willingness to engage in intercultural and international collaboration
- Enjoyment of working in a team
