The role focuses on project work and geotechnical investigations
Execution of geotechnical sampling and field and laboratory testing
Geological/geotechnical description and classification of soils and rocks
Project work in the field of geotechnical engineering domestically and abroad, including documentation and review of results and ensuring compliance with specifications and contract requirements
Handling projects with regard to quality, cost, schedule and safety requirements in coordination with the department head and project managers
Planning, coordination and execution of geotechnical investigations, tests and measurements
Collaboration with project-related subcontractors
Requirements
Successfully completed university degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnics, Geology, Surveying/Geodesy or a comparable program
Initial relevant practical experience through internships or working-student positions is an advantage but not a requirement
Confident and professionally competent appearance with strong communication skills
Ability to handle conflicts and strong negotiation skills
High level of commitment and willingness to take initiative
IT skills: proficient use of Microsoft Office and ArcGIS
Fluent German (C2) and good English (B2)
Valid driver's license
Willingness to work in intercultural and international teams
Enjoyment of teamwork
