About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure stable, secure IT operations in day-to-day business as an IT Systems Administrator (m/f/d)
  • Support, configure and further develop core company applications (ServiceNow, D3, Kaba and other business applications)
  • Configure and optimize system environments (Hyper-V, MS SQL, telephony systems (PBX), software distribution)
  • Plan, procure and implement new IT systems and applications
  • Analyze and resolve incidents at 2nd-level support (infrastructure & applications)
  • Implement and further develop IT security, patching and backup concepts
  • Maintain technical system and application documentation
  • Manage and coordinate external service providers for operations, changes and projects
  • Participate in IT projects and in on-call rotations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or equivalent professional experience
  • Several years of experience in IT infrastructure and/or application support, e.g. as an IT Systems Administrator or System Engineer (m/f/d)
  • Knowledge of operating enterprise applications (e.g., ServiceNow, D3, Kaba)
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (Microsoft Hyper-V or VMware)
  • Structured, analytical and service-oriented working style
  • Ability to work independently and communicate well with business units and service providers
  • Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to undertake occasional international business trips
