About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure stable, secure and smooth IT operations in day-to-day business
- Support, configure and further develop central company applications (e.g. ServiceNow, D3, Kaba and other specialist applications)
- Configure, maintain and optimize system environments (Hyper-V, telephone system (PBX), software distribution, MS SQL)
- Plan, size, procure and implement new IT systems and applications
- Analyze and resolve incidents at 2nd-level (infrastructure & applications)
- Implement and maintain IT security, patching and backup concepts
- Maintain and enhance technical system and application documentation
- Act as a contact person for external service providers regarding application operations, changes and projects
- Participate in IT projects and be prepared to take part in on-call duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a comparable qualification
- Several years of practical experience in the administration of IT infrastructures and/or application support
- Experience operating and supporting enterprise applications (e.g. ServiceNow, D3, Kaba or comparable systems)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. Microsoft Hyper-V or VMware)
- Structured, analytical and service-oriented way of working
- Ability to work independently and good communication skills when liaising with business units and service providers
- Good written and spoken German and English skills and willingness to travel internationally
