About the role
- Provide shelf-servicing for our existing customers in the food retail sector (grocery retail) in the Esslingen am Neckar and Kirchheim unter Teck area on a fixed-term contract
- Optimize shelf presentation along assigned routes and execute promotional sales activities
- Prevent stock-outs through optimal ordering and shelf replenishment
- Carry out shelf reconfigurations and new store set-ups
- Check inventory levels according to the inventory management guidelines
- Attend regular meetings and internal training sessions
Requirements
- Interest in sales within grocery retail; career changers are welcome — previous experience as a retail salesperson, driver, or field service employee is advantageous
- Residence within the assigned service area
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel and stay overnight
- Careful stock management, e.g., applying FIFO, avoiding out-of-stock situations, and making market-appropriate ordering decisions
- Strong communication skills, outgoing personality, and willingness to learn
