About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Proactively develop business opportunities with existing and new accounts
- Drive new business development by engaging at corporate and design engineering levels of accounts
- Establish new business through referrals and identifying future customers via planned sales calls
- Manage the business with assigned accounts, committing to increase sales
- Develop clear customer strategies working closely with National Sales Manager and Segment Leaders
- Develop alternative service concepts and value propositions for assigned accounts
- Conduct ongoing market research to identify market opportunities
- Represent the company in regional industry events and tradeshows
- Conduct onsite product training for clients through product presentations and hands-on interactions
- Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of key accounts' activities, product portfolio, and applications
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field desired (Chemistry, Engineering, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience in component design engineering
- Solid knowledge of MRO oils and industrial industries
- Current MLT or CLT certifications or the desire to obtain within 6 months
- Interest in sales and account management and closing sales processes
- Consultative selling abilities and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify new client opportunities and prospect accordingly
- Identify opportunities to grow current accounts within the segment
- Decision-making and negotiation skills, with the ability to work under pressure
- Proactive, goal-oriented, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Team spirit and ability to work in international teams
- Proficiency in MS-Office applications and CRM (Salesforce desired)
- Ability to travel frequently on short notice
