About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Proactively develop business opportunities with existing and new accounts
  • Drive new business development by engaging at corporate and design engineering levels of accounts
  • Establish new business through referrals and identifying future customers via planned sales calls
  • Manage the business with assigned accounts, committing to increase sales
  • Develop clear customer strategies working closely with National Sales Manager and Segment Leaders
  • Develop alternative service concepts and value propositions for assigned accounts
  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify market opportunities
  • Represent the company in regional industry events and tradeshows
  • Conduct onsite product training for clients through product presentations and hands-on interactions
  • Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of key accounts' activities, product portfolio, and applications

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field desired (Chemistry, Engineering, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience in component design engineering
  • Solid knowledge of MRO oils and industrial industries
  • Current MLT or CLT certifications or the desire to obtain within 6 months
  • Interest in sales and account management and closing sales processes
  • Consultative selling abilities and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to identify new client opportunities and prospect accordingly
  • Identify opportunities to grow current accounts within the segment
  • Decision-making and negotiation skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Proactive, goal-oriented, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Team spirit and ability to work in international teams
  • Proficiency in MS-Office applications and CRM (Salesforce desired)
  • Ability to travel frequently on short notice
