About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary R&D team
- Collaborate with the Fuchs global technical community

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development
- Oversee optimization of existing lubricant formulations
- Supervise experimental research, product testing, and validation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related field required
- 6 years of related experience
- Formulating water-based and non-water-based lubricants, including polysiloxane emulsions
- Formulating and product development of rolling oils, alkaline cleaners and passivation chemistry
- Developing raw material substitution strategies
- Managing R&D laboratory operations
- Conducting customer-site product trials
- Scaling up lubricant laboratory formulations to production levels
- Creating and validating advanced lubricant testing protocols
- Developing and testing new aluminum alloys
