About the role

  • Functional support and further development of production and planning processes in SAP ECC, with a focus on FUCHS EMEA within the entities FUCHS LUBRICANTS GERMANY GmbH and FUCHS SE
  • Customizing and optimization in SAP PP-PI to reflect real process manufacturing requirements
  • Analysis of existing production and planning logics and derivation of improvement measures
  • Support for the business areas Production, Planning and Supply Chain on system-related questions
  • Ensuring a stable, high-performance and transparent SAP operation in the production environment
  • Optimization and further development of MRP and planning parameters
  • Occasional use and professional evaluation of APO functionalities
  • Consideration of QM aspects in production processes
  • Coordination of external service providers for adjustments and extensions
  • Preparation of functional change requests and structured documentation
  • Support in the S/4HANA transformation program (T2G) (contributing ECC process knowledge, reviewing process and design decisions, supporting tests and functional acceptance)

Requirements

  • Degree in (business) computer science, business administration with an IT focus, or a comparable qualification with relevant practical experience
  • Alternatively, several years of professional experience in the support and further development of the SAP modules PP, ideally with a focus on the PP-PI module
  • Very good process knowledge in production and production planning, preferably from a process-industry company
  • Experience in designing, implementing and introducing processes in the P2M environment
  • Solid customizing knowledge in PP-PI and adjacent modules such as QM, APO, EWM, PP/DS
  • Basic ABAP knowledge to be able to conceptually specify development requirements
  • Strong affinity for new technologies and willingness to familiarise yourself with modern SAP solutions (e.g., S/4HANA)
  • High social competence as well as pronounced team skills, communication skills and consulting ability
  • Willingness to travel of approx. 25% within the EMEA region
  • Business-fluent English, both written and spoken
