About the role
- The QHSE Manager leads the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment strategy for Fuchs Lubricants France and ensures its operational implementation.
- Acting as a key internal advisor, they ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate audits, and support General Management with structured, performance-oriented QHSE reporting.
- Develop and implement the QHSE strategy.
- Ensure compliance with current environmental and safety regulations.
- Maintain, deploy and continuously improve the Integrated Management System (IMS) in line with ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Lead internal and supplier audits.
- Prepare, coordinate and follow up on certification audits.
- Support teams in structuring, formalizing and improving processes.
- Define, monitor and analyze QSE performance indicators (KPIs), drive associated action plans and challenge process owners on their indicators and commitments.
- Provide QSE reporting to the Group.
- Analyze customer complaints and propose corrective and preventive actions.
- Facilitate and monitor root cause analyses and 8D reports.
- Assess and manage risks related to environment, quality, health and safety.
- Analyze work accidents, incidents and near misses, and propose corrective actions.
- Support teams in promoting and deploying a Health & Safety culture.
- Participate in deploying the Group’s CSR strategy and promote it locally.
- Contribute to Group reporting, notably in relation to CSRD requirements, coordinating and managing quarterly and annual reporting in France.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in QHSE or equivalent.
- At least 5–7 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Experience or interest in Sustainable Development topics.
- Professional proficiency in English is essential to collaborate with Fuchs’ international teams.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 standards.
- Experience conducting internal audits (ISO 19011).
- Ability to identify non-conformities and propose targeted corrective actions.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Excellent communication skills and leadership.
- Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations.
