About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and optimize end-to-end manufacturing and operational processes for efficiency, quality, and scalability
Lead a team focused on advanced time studies, line balancing, capacity modeling, and throughput optimization
Develop standard work, labor models, and ergonomic solutions for complex manufacturing environments
Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints to identify and eliminate operational waste
Build and maintain advanced simulation, flow, and capacity models for data-driven decisions
Create cost models, make-vs-buy analyses, and ROI justifications for capital and process investments
Influence product design through DFMA, tolerance analysis, error-proofing, and assembly feasibility studies
Lead NPI industrialization efforts, including production layouts, material flow, and ramp-up strategies
Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen events, KPI development, and cross-functional leadership
Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
7+ years of Industrial or Operations Engineering experience
Ability to travel 25%
Ability to work Monday-Friday between 7 AM and 5 PM
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Systems thinking and advanced problem-solving
Strong project leadership and cross-functional influence
Data-driven decision-making
Change management and stakeholder alignment
Team leadership and coaching abilities
Results-oriented mindset focused on measurable outcomes
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints

Knowledge of DFMA, tolerance analysis, error-proofing, assembly feasibility, NPI industrialization, production layouts, material flow, Kaizen, and KPI development
