About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and optimize end-to-end manufacturing and operational processes for efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Lead a team focusing on advanced time studies, line balancing, capacity modeling, and throughput optimization initiatives.
- Develop standard work, labor models, and ergonomic solutions for complex manufacturing environments.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints to identify and eliminate waste across operations.
- Build and maintain advanced simulation, flow, and capacity models to support data-driven decisions.
- Create cost models, make-vs-buy analyses, and ROI justifications for capital and process investments.
- Influence product design through DFMA, tolerance analysis, error-proofing, and assembly feasibility studies.
- Lead NPI industrialization efforts, including production layouts, material flow, and ramp-up strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen events, KPI development, and cross-functional leadership.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of Industrial or Operations Engineering experience
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
