About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and adjust electrical equipment
- Provide documentation, including test reports and service summary to customer
- Instruct customers and personnel on operation and maintenance of equipment
- Perform warranty work and start-up service
- Construct and test circuits and equipment
- Provide technical support and training to customers and service representatives
- Analyze complex problems in equipment and machinery and consult with technical specialists
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship (8,000 hours) or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Military experience within Navy Nuclear Electronic Technicians and Electrician’s Mate
- Electrical start-up and testing experience (circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, VFDs, PLCs, capacitor banks)
- Ability to effectively communicate in the English language
- Travel: 50%
