About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide Procurement support from quotation to delivery using current systems and processes.
- Provide excellent customer service to Project Management and Field personnel.
- Include RFI/RFP/RFQ activities, analyzing quotations for total value.
- Create, verify, and edit purchase and rental orders/contracts/requests, and submit orders to suppliers.
- Assist in the coordination of material/equipment deliveries and perform other clerical duties related to the Procurement team.
- Identify, qualify, and contact potential vendors to receive bids or quotes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or relevant trade/industry technical program.
- 2-5 years of Purchasing/Buying experience in electrical industry or other relevant business.
- Proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of the electrical construction trade, and of purchasing procedures, processes, and practices.
- Less than 10% travel, with limited periodic travel to different FTI office/job site locations.
