About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for leading and managing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) scopes associated with mission-critical data center facilities
Oversees daily field execution, project controls, engineering coordination, cost management, risk mitigation, scheduling, and overall technical performance of MEP systems
Acts as key liaison among project teams, trade partners, commissioning agents, project executives, and regional leadership
Supports the development of QAQC/Cx scope, schedule, and budget for MEP contractors
Reviews outgoing QAQC/Cx estimates with Estimating Department to ensure accuracy
Works with the construction project manager to ensure start-up and operational procedures are executed in a safe manner
Coordinates with the client, Cx Project Manager and all affected parties on day to day start-up and Cx activities
Manages all QAQC/Cx issues logs for MEP contractors

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical training
1 year of electrical estimating experience
Five years of Project Management, Construction Management, Project Engineering, or Commissioning Management experience
8 years of commissioning/start-up experience for electrical and/or mechanical systems
Experience leading commissioning/start-up activities for construction projects exceeding $25MM in contract value strongly preferred
Relevant industry experience can vary from Mission Critical, Industrial, and Commercial.
