About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and develop manufacturing tooling, fixtures, jigs, weld fixtures, and aids to support new product launches
- Collaborate with Design Engineering to provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) feedback
- Specify, justify, and support the purchase of new manufacturing equipment and tooling
- Develop and document fabrication and weld processes, including weld sequencing, fixturing, and work instructions
- Support daily production by addressing tooling, equipment, and process-related issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 3 years of Manufacturing Engineering or related hands-on manufacturing experience
- Involvement in tooling/fixturing design or fab and weld is a plus
- Up to 25% travel
