Electrical Engineer

• Perform basic electrical power and/or low voltage system engineering tasks for electrical construction projects under direct supervision
• Prepare and study technical drawings and electrical specifications to ensure installations and designs conform to standards and customer requirements
• Conduct field surveys and study diagrams and other data to identify and correct power system problems
• Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
• Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish construction standards and specifications with direction from an upper-level Engineer
• Plan layout of electrical construction projects with direction from an upper-level Engineer
• Report to and take direction from an upper-level Engineer, Senior Electrical Designer, or Engineering Team Leader as assigned by the Corporate Engineering Manager
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
