About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Formulates, develops, and coordinates safety and loss control functions onsite
Monitors compliance with government regulatory agencies such as OSHA, MSHA, DNR, etc.
Collaborates with Safety Department to improve safety and health onsite and for the company overall
Completes jobsite safety audits, identifies unsafe conditions and work practices, and ensures appropriate corrective actions are taken
Provides guidance to field employees, project supervisors, and management on employee health & safety matters

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Safety or Construction
3 to 5 years of Safety experience or 5 years of experience in the electrical trade (4th year apprentice or above)
Proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
Thorough knowledge of federal safety regulations as well as the electrical construction trade
Ability to operate various types of construction equipment
