About the role
- Manage a manpower pool of 20-40 team members
- Oversee 4-6 workforce managers
- Ensure current and future workforce needs are met
- Develop improvements to current processes
- Coach and develop talent
- Keep certifications current and expand licensing for field team members
- Partner with Talent & Operation teams on recruiting, selection, and team member relations
- Visit projects to encourage safe and productive behavior
- Provide feedback and coaching to drive retention and performance
- Implement and influence change management strategies
- Partner with Workforce Planning and Scheduling team
- Create and develop community relationships for recruitment pipeline
- Oversee execution and completion of performance evaluations
- Mentor and provide guidance to workforce managers
- Ensure effective onboarding of new team members
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Requirements
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
- confidentiality
- proficiency in use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
- Education: A high school diploma or GED OR an Associate's degree
- Experience: 2-4 years progressive administrative/field experience in the Operations or Construction field OR 6 months-1 year progressive administrative/field experience in the Operations or Construction field
- Travel: 20-30%
