Assistant Electrical Project Manager
FTIAssistant Project Manager responsible for managing electrical construction projects including staff oversight and vendor coordination. Ensuring project profitability and timely completion per customer expectations.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide general management for electrical construction projects
- Oversee staff and coordinate with vendors to obtain materials for construction projects
- Conduct employee performance reviews and maintain employee relations
- Ensure that projects are completed profitably, in a timely manner, and according to customer expectations
- Attend weekly and monthly meetings to review job progress and supports safe behavior
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management/Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in electrical construction, project management, or a related field
- Experience with electrical construction projects and understanding of electrical components and applications is preferred
- Proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Accubid and AutoCAD is preferred
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly desirable
- Travel: 15-20%
