About the role

  • Managing the development and implementation of a strategic procurement strategy
  • Partnering with key stakeholders across the business
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive category strategies
  • Updating market intelligence on key suppliers and market solutions
  • Developing, leading, assessing, and executing purchasing strategies
  • Negotiating corporate programs with strategic suppliers
  • Participating in cost reduction activities
  • Supporting internal quarterly vendor reviews
  • Analyzing key sourcing KPI's, spend data, and vendor performance scores

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in a strategic sourcing role
  • Proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strategic sourcing experience
  • Knowledge of the electrical construction trade is beneficial, but not required.
