About the role

  • Act as the primary authority on Test, Facility, and Automation engineering standards
  • Translate corporate strategic goals into actionable engineering road maps
  • Ensure the team’s technical direction evolves with industry 4.0 trends and future business needs
  • Take full accountability for project deliverables within the scope of test, automation, and facilities
  • Distill complex technical status updates into clear, concise reports for executive leadership and project stakeholders
  • Identify technical risks early and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
  • Oversee day-to-day tasks for a team of Advanced Test, Automation, and Facility Engineers
  • Manage task allocation to ensure alignment with project timelines and critical milestones
  • Balance "player-coach" duties: provide hands-on troubleshooting and design input while leading the team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Core Engineering Discipline - Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Facility, Test, Automation, Controls, or relevant roles
  • 8-10 years of experience in Automation and Controls or relevant roles is preferred
  • Experience with PLC controls and programming
  • Project management skills
  • HMI/SCADA interface design experience
  • Automated test software such as LabVIEW, Python, or PLC-based testing experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
