About the role
- Support Product Engineering team in the development and commissioning of model-based systems engineering simulations
- Spearhead the development and commissioning of microgrid component and power distribution for data centers
- Integrate market and product strategy into technology and systems architecture
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop hardware and controls software integration requirements
- Commission and collaborate with testing teams to verify and validate component and system performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering
- Strong understanding of power electronics, power distribution system architecture, and power generation components for microgrids
- Knowledge of energy storage systems and controls software architecture
- Strong communication skills to provide clear recommendations and guidelines
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Experience in product risk assessment & risk mitigation
- Reliability, Safety DFMEA/FMEA background
- Experience with requirement management tools including JAMA, DOORS, CAMEO, Jira, or similar tools
