About the role
- Managing the development and implementation of a strategic procurement strategy
- Partnering with key stakeholders across the business
- Developing and implementing comprehensive category strategies
- Developing and continually updating market intelligence on key suppliers
- Negotiating corporate programs with strategic suppliers
- Facilitating internal and external quarterly vendor reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a strategic sourcing role
- Proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of the electrical construction trade is beneficial, but not required.
