About the role
- Leading and managing the Engineering team
- Designing and/or testing components and products related to distributed energy resources (DERs) and power distribution products
- Ensuring all engineering duties and deliverables are accomplished for all projects
- Leading the team in project scope definition and planning, budget management
- Collaboration with other disciplines within the organization
- Coaching and mentoring the team through regular interactions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of work experience
- 5+ years of experience in leading teams or groups
- Exposure to mechanical systems, electronic systems, and controls
- Experience in product development processes
- Experience working with AC and DC power sources and related products and systems
- Experience in the energy sector; with a focus on microgrid, DER products, power distribution systems and enclosures, battery energy storage systems.
- Experience in business systems, ERP, PDM/PLM
- Project management experience is a plus
