About the role
- Lead and execute the overall procurement strategy for the Construction division
- Collaborate across business units to develop processes and systems
- Develop key metrics for the organization’s effectiveness
- Manage strategic supplier relationships to improve productivity and reduce costs
- Implement initiatives to move the Procurement organization along its road map
- Create an empowered atmosphere for Procurement managers at job sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7-10 years of electrical industry experience, purchasing, manufacturing, and/or distribution experience
- Ability to lead and develop managerial talent
- Strong communication and planning competencies
- Experience in strategic sourcing and procurement systems
- Proficiency in managing supplier relationships and negotiations.
