About the role
- Obtain an Authority to Operate (ATO) through the appropriate Navy Authorizing Official (AO).
- Guide the ATO package through the RMF process.
- Manage the ATO package in eMASS.
- Manage the cybersecurity program for NAVAIR and advise the government on best cybersecurity practices.
- Oversee compliance and auditing, ensuring adherence to applicable industry standards, government regulations, and internal policies.
- Identify vulnerabilities, evaluate risks, and implement controls to reduce exposure.
- Up to 30% travel is possible within 200 miles of Pt. Magu, CA.
Requirements
- Must be a U. S. Citizen with an active U.S. Dept. of Defense Secret security clearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 10+ years of RMF process experience.
- 10+ years of experience building and maintaining ATO packages in eMASS.
- One of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, (C)ISSO, GCIH, GCIA, GCSA, GICSP, GSEC, GSLC, ISSMP, FITSP-M ~OR~ DAU DCWF 722 ISSM & NEC 741A Information System Security Manager Training.
- Experience with the Navy ATO process.
