Channel Partner Manager – Western US Territory
FS-Elliott. Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned Channel Partners, representing both FS-Elliott and the partner internally across mechanical engineering, controls, applications engineering, and other functional areas.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned Channel Partners, representing both FS-Elliott and the partner internally across mechanical engineering, controls, applications engineering, and other functional areas.
- Lead cross-functional teams to support partners with technical and commercial product solutions, including aftermarket initiatives.
- Provide technical and commercial support during bid clarification phases and attend bid clarification meetings as needed.
- Manage and guide the preparation of company and budgetary quotations to meet partner timelines.
- Oversee compressor selection for site-specific conditions and applications.
- Support the development and execution of strategic sales plans for each opportunity.
- Ensure accurate and timely order entry processing.
- Collaborate with Channel Partners to develop territory sales and aftermarket strategies, generating leads and expanding market presence.
- Maintain and expand technical knowledge of FS-Elliott’s industrial products, including centrifugal compressors and rotating equipment.
- Develop competitive product awareness and provide input on product and process improvements.
- Collect and communicate market intelligence to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a sales support role within distribution channels.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with centrifugal compressors or rotating equipment.
- Strong understanding of industrial distribution models and channel partner networks.
- Technical knowledge of centrifugal compressors and related industrial systems.
- Excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and organizational levels.
- Exceptional time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptable; capable of working independently.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 65%.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience (minimum five years of related experience considered in lieu of degree).
