About the role
- Handle medium-complexity incidents in the TOTVS Datasul ERP, analyzing multiple aspects, using diagnostic tools and interacting with TOTVS for critical troubleshooting to ensure effective solutions and operational continuity.
- Work together with vendors and internal teams to resolve tickets, identify root causes, propose systemic improvements, and ensure the reliability of native integrations and those based on web services/SOA.
- Document and share solutions in a knowledge base through digital records or meetings, promoting team autonomy on technical issues.
- Plan, execute and monitor update and version migration processes for the Datasul ERP, involving key users, coordinating staging and production environments, conducting tests, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements, bug fixes and technological evolution.
- Perform queries, changes and minor fixes in Progress OpenEdge databases (SQL, ABL, PL/SQL), analyzing indexes, triggers and source code to resolve errors, inconsistencies and handle daily requests.
- Administer distributed Datasul environments and other company systems, managing scheduled routines, log analysis and troubleshooting performance issues or system freezes.
- Identify and propose improvements to internal processes, configurations and customizations of the Datasul ERP and other company solutions to increase productivity and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with business partners to detect operational inconsistencies, recommend optimizations in workflows and systems, and improve the end-user experience.
- Develop and correct programs in Progress ABL (4GL), focusing on urgent and low-complexity requests to optimize critical processes and support business areas.
- Perform other related activities, contributing to the objectives of the department and the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in Information Technology, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields.
- Practical experience in systems analysis, ERP support/maintenance, development or advanced support in corporate IT environments; knowledge of TOTVS Datasul ERP or other similar ERPs is a plus.
- Intermediate knowledge of Progress OpenEdge databases (ability to perform SQL/ABL queries).
- Familiarity with integrations via REST APIs and web services.
- Basic knowledge or experience in programming languages.
- Strong skills in eliciting, documenting and validating functional and non-functional requirements.
- Experience or familiarity with manufacturing/industrial processes is a plus.
- Valid driver's license (category B) preferred.
- Availability to work Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and on Fridays until 4:30 PM, with a 1-hour break.
