About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with product trios to deliver timely, decision-ready research that informs product strategy and development.
- Plan and conduct qualitative research, including customer interviews, synthesis, and structured analysis.
- Perform competitive and market research to help teams understand trends, opportunities, and emerging customer needs.
- Design, build, and maintain AI-assisted workflows that improve research operations, including recruitment, synthesis, analysis, and reporting.
- Create reusable research tools, templates, and frameworks that enable product teams to answer common research questions independently.
- Establish quality standards and validation processes that ensure AI-generated outputs are grounded in real evidence and sound research practices.
- Improve how research is captured, shared, and reused across the organization.
- Present findings in ways that build genuine empathy for users — turning data and interviews into stories that stick and drive decisions.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and Engineers to connect customer insights with product outcomes.
- Proactively identify opportunities to increase the impact, efficiency, and scalability of research at Frontify.
- Balance multiple priorities across teams while maintaining a high bar for rigor, quality, and speed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in product research, user research, market research, or a related discipline within SaaS or technology environments.
- Extensive experience conducting qualitative research and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Strong analytical thinking and a hypothesis-driven approach to problem solving.
- Experience conducting competitive and market research using reliable, evidence-based methods.
- Natural storyteller with excellent presentation skills.
- Comfortable working alongside quantitative researchers, product managers, product designers, and engineers.
- Understanding of where automation can create leverage and where human judgment remains essential.
- Experience building, improving, or experimenting with AI-enabled workflows, research operations, or automation tools; experience with platforms such as n8n is a plus.
- Thrive in highly autonomous environments with the ability to define priorities and drive initiatives forward independently.
- Enjoy working cross-functionally, sharing work early, incorporating feedback, and helping teams learn quickly.
- Fluent in English.
