About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the day-to-day operation of the Creative Strategy function — driving pitch excellence, elevating team output, and ensuring quality, consistency, and timeliness across deliverables.
- Lead the development of strategic recommendations for major RFPs and priority accounts, defining the POV and narrative direction that wins business.
- Build and evolve scalable frameworks, templates, and systems that reduce rework, accelerate proposal turnaround, and elevate the quality bar.
- Confidently lead client and agency calls; defend and sell ideas to senior brand stakeholders, and represent the FOS voice externally with authority.
- Manage and mentor a team of strategists — assigning work strategically based on strengths and development goals, and elevating their thinking through direct, constructive feedback.
- Make high-stakes decisions in real time during pitches, briefings, and strategy sessions; act as a trusted decision-maker under pressure without requiring guidance from leadership.
- Independently generate original concepts and creative platforms beyond team brainstorms — and push the team's thinking past the obvious.
- Develop new products, placements, and sponsorship opportunities that strengthen FOS's positioning and unlock new revenue paths.
- Shape how Front Office Sports is sold and packaged to brands by influencing go-to-market storytelling, partnership positioning, and the evolution of our creative offering.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6-8+ years of experience in creative strategy, partnerships or brand marketing — with at least 2 years managing direct reports.
- Expert proficiency in Keynote. You build executive-ready decks fast; you set the visual and narrative standard, not relying on pre-existing templates and assets.
- Demonstrated track record of building systems, processes, and frameworks that scale a creative function.
- Bias for action. You spot the gap, take the swing, and don't wait for permission. You drive change instead of waiting to be told.
