About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage installation and conversion projects from document collection through first contribution
  • Serve as primary contact for clients, advisors, and recordkeeping partners during implementation
  • Consult with clients on retirement plan operation and administration solutions
  • Coordinate installation calls to review plan setup, document provisions, responsibilities, and deadlines
  • Establish new plans and create amendments using Relius and FT William systems
  • Review plan document comparison assessments and generate regulatory notices
  • Coordinate with distribution partners for notice fulfillment
  • Collaborate with compliance, sales, operations, and client services teams
  • Handle client amendment requests and document-related special projects
  • Communicate missing or incomplete installation paperwork data to Relationship Managers and Sales
  • Manage multiple concurrent installation and document projects
  • Assist leadership with improving and streamlining installation processes
  • Maintain client files and the Plan Document Library
  • Participate in continuous improvement of systems, procedures, and service quality
  • Develop retirement plan installation expertise and support special projects
  • Track and document installation processes using PensionPro
  • Confirm plan setup accuracy in internal systems and external platforms
  • Document responsibilities, processes, and procedures
  • Follow up on outstanding installation and amendment issues
  • Desire to manage a small team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with Qualified Retirement Plan administration
  • Experience with Plan Document creation
  • Experience drafting retirement plan documents
  • Experience with high-touch client service and multiple recordkeeping platforms
  • Experience with Relius and FT William software strongly desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Strong familiarity with PensionPro is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • In-depth knowledge of retirement plan design and administration
  • Knowledge of retirement plan pricing and fee schedules
  • Knowledge of regulatory changes and retirement industry trends
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Problem-solving mindset with sound judgment and discretion under pressure
  • Ability to work effectively independently and across the organization
  • ASPPA or NIPPA designation highly desired
