About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive disproportionate growth of Summit’s Hydraulic Business by leading strategy and operations
  • Generate new business and develop high-value customer relationships
  • Lead direct sales efforts by delivering value‑based solutions supported by strong application engineering
  • Monitor market trends and customer needs, translating insights into actionable growth strategies
  • Partner closely with Sales, Engineering, R&D, Marketing, Pricing, and Supply Chain to support new opportunities and product development
  • Engage regularly with major OEMs and customers through frequent on‑site visits
  • Support the sales organization through lead generation initiatives, sales tools, training, and market intelligence
  • Utilize CRM to track opportunities, customer interactions, and industry insights
  • Represent Summit at industry trade shows, seminars, and association events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Engineering degree (Chemical or Mechanical preferred) or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of experience with hydraulic systems operating under high load and high pressure
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or product management
  • Proven ability to grow markets and influence cross‑functional teams
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively (around 50%)
