About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Overseeing all aspects of the region's accounting, financial reporting, and internal control functions.
Leading the accounting organization for a major Business Unit in a publicly traded produce company.
Ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting while maintaining compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, SOX requirements, and industry-specific accounting standards.
Partnering closely with executive leadership, operational management, internal and external auditors, tax, treasury, investor relations, and business finance teams.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing financial controls and reporting processes, and supporting mergers and acquisitions.
Fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance while developing and mentoring accounting talent across the organization.

Requirements

What you’ll need

4-year college degree in accounting from an accredited institution, and/or equivalent work experience in a similar role.
CPA, CIA or MBA preferred.
10 years prior experience in financial and operational/cost accounting.
Experience leading teams of more than 10 people
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, etc.).
Understanding of corporate wide End-to-end processes (P2P, O2C, I2P, R2R)
Experience working with ERP system such as Oracle or SAP.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
