Key responsibilities & impact

Provide consistent, day-to-day service to existing customers
Drive incremental sales growth through effective ad planning, prospecting, and relationship building
Demonstrate a strong understanding of West Coast market players and dynamics
Deep knowledge of the tropical produce supply chain
Expand the customer base while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing accounts
Represent the company at various conferences, trade shows, and industry events
Respond promptly and appropriately to customer inquiries and issues
Manage daily responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in fresh produce sales, preferably with a focus on tropical commodities
Strong understanding of West Coast market players, competitive landscape, and industry dynamics
Deep knowledge of tropical produce supply chains, including sourcing, logistics, and seasonality
Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth while expanding customer base and maintaining existing accounts
Experience with ad planning, promotions, and market-driven sales strategies.
Strong background in customer relationship management and service execution
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience representing a company at conferences, trade shows, and industry events
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales/reporting tools
