About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gather and analyze data from various sources within the supply chain, including inventory levels, transportation costs, supplier performance, and demand forecasts.
- Practice data stewardship and monitor data integrity while performing analytics processes.
- Utilize statistical techniques and advanced analytics to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform decision-making and drive process improvements.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance, such as on-time delivery, lead times, and inventory turnover.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process optimization, and service level improvement within the supply chain network.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall supply chain agility.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at optimizing supply chain processes.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the supply chain organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including planning, operations, procurement, finance, and IT, to gather requirements and develop data-driven solutions that address business needs.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice dissemination across functional areas to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree (Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Data Science, Engineering)
- Master’s Degree in Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of relevant work experience (Supply Chain/Analytics)
- Relevant work experience in Supply Chain Analytics, Business Intelligence w/in Manufacturing environment
- Strong proficiency in BI Tools: Power BI (Power Query, DAX), Tableau, or similar
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with data modeling
- Experience working with supply chain systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, planning tools)
- Project Management exp – ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables; VLookUps; Formulas; Logic driven)
- Data Strategies; Process Improvement Strategies
- Experience implementing or supporting S&OP / IBP processes
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for advanced analytics
- CPG/Grocery experience
